Place the engine template on the base of the pump and trace the perimeter with a permenant marker. The mounting hole on the right lines up - but must be trimmed slightly.

On the left side a new hole must be drilled.

 

 

 

 

 

Cover the tang with blue tape to keep the shavings off the rubber seal.

I used a Dremel grinding stone bit that was made to sharpen chain saw blades to enlarge the hole.

I used the Dremel tool to finish the enlargment.
