Mast Rasing Harness

On my previous 1984 Hunter 25.5 trailerable boat, I need to lower and raise the mast safely and prevent it from swinging left or right while lowering or raising the mast.
I came up with a harness that stabilized the mast in the center of the boat while moving up or down.
The first image in the album is the drawing of how it works.
Basically I have assembled a stationary point above the deck using 3 screw-rods where they meet in a location that is in-line with the aft mast pin on both sides.
These rods are clamped to the toe-rail. From the upper point there is a line that ties to a loop that goes around the mast and I raise this loop with the main halyard and slide it up to the bottom of the spreaders. Then I take up the slack of the left and right side lines. These lines prevent the mast from swinging left or right while raising or lowering.
Normally you would set this up to lower the mast and leave them on while mast is down so that it is already adjusted and can help raise the mast without readjusting.
I have had many requests to explain this set-up. View more images by visiting the Album link below.
Please return and comment if you were successful in setting up this harness.
